At Veritable Wellness, there is a comprehensive approach to your health. The cornerstone is a muscle-centric approach, which is supported by a focus on sleep, nutrition, and the understanding that stress management is vital to overall wellness.
What specific techniques are used to help individuals conquer pain and improve their health?
Most people's default response after injury is to avoid activity in fear of re-injury. At Veritable Wellness, the solution is to move: “Motion is lotion.” This is achieved through the D2R2 model: Desensitize, Decongest, Revascularize, and Remobilize.
How can movement contribute to a person’s overall sense of joy?
Human beings are designed to move and be active. It is a part of our nature. When we are unable to do things we are meant to do and want to do, it can steal our joy. At Veritable Wellness, the goal is to restore your ability to live life without compromise—the way you were meant to.
Why is personal commitment essential in the journey toward wellness and pain relief?
Nothing worth having in life comes free. Our health is the same way. If improving your pain and health is important, then it will require you to be intentional. To become the best version you can be, you have to cultivate good habits into your life.

When you understand the problem, it is easier to commit to the investment. At Veritable Wellness, I make a point that you understand the pathology, the plan, the purpose, and the payoff.
What are the long-term benefits of engaging with a wellness program?
Sickness, disease, and death cannot be avoided 100%. But, in today’s culture, the “golden years” are often assumed they have to be filled with disability. I believe with the right plan, the golden years can be a time of fulfillment.
Will there be videos demonstrating how to do the exercises?
Of course! I am providing these for a reason, so please use them. Watch them several times if needed. I recommend checking the videos out before you go to the gym so you know what to expect. This will also help cut down on time spent at the gym or working out at home. Life is busy, so keep the workout time efficient.
What equipment do I need?
If you have access to a commercial gym, you will have everything you need, but don't worry if you don't have a gym membership. A minimalist approach is with simple dumbbells, a box, and a pull-up bar, which will also work. For beginners, body weight movements will work, too. I recommend getting comfortable with using weights. Exercises like calisthenics, yoga, and pilates are good, but resistance is needed at some point to build strong, healthy muscles.
